Kylie & James in Liddington Gardens

My friend and Wedding Planner/Stylist (aka decorator) Susi Liddington has the most amazing garden here in little old Kerikeri.

As well as that she is incredible at decorating wedding venues, either her garden, your venue or your hire marque.

So with Kylie and James getting married in her garden, then heading onto the Pear Tree for their reception she had a ball.

Myself and Suzy Poole (make up) got the girls ready at the Stone Store Lodge (luxury BnB).

Wendy of Putts Green worked her magic with the flowers.

Jess Burges of Exposure Photographic captured their magic.

Enjoy Jess’s images.

Rhonda’s day

Rhonda was my first wedding of the season. It was Labour Weekend and Rhonda was surrounded by her best friends from high school.

It was a bit cold still but the sun was out.

Only two shots so far. The first with three of the bridesmaid from Photographer Two Little Starfish and the other one of my Instagrams. Lxx

Kellie & Ricky

Last  year I had the pleasure of being asked to do the wedding hair in March for one of my favourite Models Kellie.

‘Yes’ was my answer naturally.

Kellie has always been so great to work with for any photo shoot.

She’s wonderfully tall and lean and beautiful, not to mention the fact that she’s so lovely.

You will see a few photos of her throughout my galleries.

Her wedding photos are awesome.

She used Alice Photography, Samantha Buhl for make up and Susi Liddington was her stylist for the reception at Wharepuke.

I miss having you around Kellie, but great that you and Ricky are on your new adventure together…enjoy.

Lorna Evans photographic workshop 2014

I’ve had the joy of being able to attend the Lorna Evans Education Photographic Workshop 2014.

Wow so cool to be part of this workshop. It was held in Melbourne Australia August 30-September 2.

I was one of 16 Hairdressers and the only from New Zealand.

We were put into pairs and each pair had a professional model to work with for the shoot. Something I don’t normally have, so very exciting.

Sarah Penno and myself created the first image…love it

Below is the whole group and much credit to all involved. Please I joy what we created. Lxx

The rain, the rain for Stacey & Brett…

Oh my did it rain or what?

This Watiangi weekend in New Zealand totally tipped it down.

Not what we were wanting for this lovely bride.

But Stacey kept it together, with a change in plans for the ceremony  location we kept on rolling.

Stacey’s theme was vintage and very elegant.

Her gown was so beautiful, with an exquisite veil to top it off.

I have to say I loved her completed look.

Thanks for the lovely photos, Alice Photography, www.alicephotography.co.nz

Make up Suzy Poole of Body Divine, www.bodydivine.co.nz

Location, The Duke of Marlborough, Russell. These guys rock!!

Flowers Wendy Putt of Putts Green, www.puttsgreen.co.nz

Despite the weather I loved this wedding.

Thanks ladies.
